Ms. Suzanne Mueller, Chargé-d’Affaires, Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh visited Central Women’s University on May 16, 2023 and delivered a lecture at a seminar organized by the Sociology and Gender Studies Department, CWU. Ms. Mueller’s speech on ‘Socio-Economic Development: Personal experience and lessons drawn from different continents’ was followed by a discussion and question-answer session.
At the beginning of the program held at the CWU conference room Dr. Fazila Banu Lily, Chairperson, Department of Sociology and Gender Studies presented a brief introduction on Ms. Mueller and her areas of work and expertise. Mr. Elias Ahmed, Registrar, Central Women’s University delivered the vote of thanks speech at the event. At the end of the seminar Ms. Suzanne Mueller was honored and greeted with ‘uttorio’ and crest by Mr. Elias Ahmed and Mr. Hasan Shirazi, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration. Among others chairpersons, teachers and students of different departments of the university were present at the program.
