Industrial Tour - 2023 at the "Kazi Feed Mill, Gozaria"

Intending to go beyond classroom learning, Industrial tours contribute a lot in holistic student development by letting students learn about the current trends in the market, the future scenario of the industry and the new technologies that are being applied.
It is an important educational tool that can provide real-world experience, supplement classroom learning, offer career exploration, provide networking opportunities, and highlight innovations and technologies in the industry.
With the motto "Let's Bridge The Academia and Industry," Central Women's University Career Club (CWUCC) organized an Industrial Tour - 2023 at the "Kazi Feed Mill, Gozaria" as part of the courses "Operation Management and Human Resourse Planning, Staffing and HR Policy.
On May 3rd, 2023, a total of 36 students and seven faculty members embarked on this visit.
The participants were first briefed on KAZI Feed Mills and their feed manufacturing process. Through plant and lab visit - raw material reception, grinding and mixing, pelleting, adding additives, quality control, packaging and distribution etc process were experienced in real time.
Lunch and a question-and-answer session concluded the visit. The visit was incredibly enlightening and intriguing for the participants. It has provided a fascinating insight into the process of producing feed, from raw materials to finished product.
Overall, the visit was a successful endeavor, overseen by Engr Akhtar Hossain - AGM (Kazi Grandparents Limited, Gozaria Feed Mill) and his team.
