"MoU Signing between Central Women’s University and Odoo Middle East DWC-LLC"

On 24 November 2025, Central Women’s University (CWU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odoo Middle East DWC-LLC, a globally recognized provider of open-source business applications, to enhance academic and professional skill development opportunities for students and faculty. The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Perween Hasan on behalf of Central Women’s University and Kevin Farah on behalf of Odoo Middle East DWC-LLC. The event was attended by CWU Treasurer Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Jamal, Registrar Elias Ahmed, departmental Chairpersons, and faculty members, showing strong university support for the partnership. Representatives from the Odoo Team and Sysnova Team were also present, contributing insights into the educational initiatives of the collaboration. A number of CWU students participated in the program, showing keen interest in the learning and career opportunities offered through the MoU. Through this collaboration, Odoo will offer CWU free access to unlimited educational databases, workshops, seminars, and training sessions for both students and faculty. CWU will also receive access to Odoo Academy’s learning materials and the “Odoo Course” for practical ERP training. Students will further benefit from Odoo’s Class to Career program, creating opportunities for future employment. All these facilities will be provided at no cost, enhancing students’ digital and professional skills. This collaboration strengthens CWU’s commitment to advancing technology-based education and preparing students for future career opportunities.
