Education Program on “Investment by Women in Bangladesh Capital Market”
The program held on September 26th, 2023, at the Department of Business Administration, Central Women’s University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, focused to enhance awareness and understanding of the capital market, encouraging investment decision and flourishing careers in this sector. There were two parts in the program, lecture sessions and a learning evaluation. The program was divided into four sessions :
Session-01: Introduction to Bangladesh Capital Market by S. M. Kalbin Salema
Lecturer, BICM; Session-02: Investment in Capital Market by Tamanna Islam, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, BICM; Session-03: Secondary Market Trading by Faima Akter, Lecturer, BICM; Session-04: Use of Web-based Trading Applications, Software, and Websites by Kashfia Sharmeen Assistant Professor, BICM.
Around 65 students were participated in this program. The certificate awarding part was also graced by the participation of Vice Chancellor Dr. Perween Hasan, Registrar Elias Ahmed, Chairpersons and faculty members of this department.
