The Department of English Language and Literature at Central Women's University bid a fond farewell to the Spring 2019 batch on June 18, 2023. The heartfelt event, organized by the graduating students, took place at 1:00 PM in the university lobby.
The program was led by Mr. Abdus Selim, Chairperson of the Department of English Language and Literature, with the esteemed presence of the Registrar of CWU, Mr. Elias Ahmed and Ms. Asif Un Nahar Rita, Assistant Professor from the Department of Business Administration and Proctor. They also shared their insights and thoughts during the event.
Despite the rainy weather, the students managed to create an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and joy. They also celebrated "Borsha Boron," a traditional Bengali custom, and also observed a mesmerizing performance by Fatema Tuz Zohora Promi, who showcased traditional dance numbers.
The farewell program provided a platform for students and teachers to share their experiences and memories. The graduating students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers and the university, while the teachers reminisced about the students' growth and achievements.
