Extempore Speech Competition 2026 | A Celebration of Voices & Ideas
The Career Club, Central Women’s University (CWU) successfully organized the Extempore Speech Competition 2026, bringing together talented students from different colleges and departments to showcase their confidence, spontaneity, and communication skills.
The competition featured three categories—College Level, University Level Group A (1st & 2nd Year), and Group B (3rd & 4th Year). Around 56 students from different departments of CWU participated, with 21 students advancing to the final round after the initial screening.
The program was graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor and Registrar, who shared inspiring thoughts with the participants. Dr. Tanjela Hossain, Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration and Moderator of the Career Club, delivered the opening speech, while Ms. Zayma Hossain, a student of the Department of Business Administration, skillfully hosted the program.
A wonderful platform where young voices found confidence, ideas found expression, and talent found its moment.
