Music, Market and Freedom: A Conversation with Shayan

Music, Market and Freedom: A Conversation with Shayan

The Department of Journalism and Media Studies, Central Women’s University hosted a thought-provoking session titled “Music, Market and Freedom: A Conversation with Shayan.” The session created an open and engaging space where students actively shared their thoughts, questions, and experiences. Our students expressed their views with confidence, making the discussion lively and meaningful. The conversation explored the relationship between music, market forces, and freedom of expression, offering students new perspectives on creativity, resistance, and reality. We sincerely thank singer and activist Farzana Wahid Shayan for this enriching exchange and Drik Trust for their collaboration in making the session possible.
