Badminton Tournament 2026

The final match of the Annual Badminton Tournament 2026 of Central Women’s University was held on February 2, 2026, amid great enthusiasm and excitement, marking a memorable conclusion to the sporting event. The tournament was organized by the Sports Club of CWU. The presence of the Vice Chancellor, the University Registrar, faculty members, and a large number of students, along with the players, created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that enhanced the spirit of the match. Cheers and encouragement from the audience kept the momentum high for the much-anticipated final. The championship title was claimed by Tahasin Binte Jamal Hridita and Summaiya Akhter from the Department of Sociology and Gender Studies, who delivered an impressive performance to secure victory. The runner-up position was earned by Tabassum Monir Zinia and Munni Basak from the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, whose determination and sportsmanship were widely appreciated. The final match was followed by a prize-giving ceremony, during which the champions and runners-up were formally awarded, bringing the Annual Badminton Tournament 2026 to a celebratory and dignified close.
