Meet & Greet 2022

Students of the Department of English Language and Literature have organized a Meet & Greet program in the university auditorium on August 20 (Saturday). More than 100 students, both current and former, have participated in the gala event. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Elias Ahmed, Registrar, Mr. Abdus Selim, Chairperson, Department of English Language and Literature, and Mr. AKM Morshed, Deputy registrar in the lobby. It was followed by a dance performance.
The main event started at 2.30 pm in the auditorium. Students and teachers took part in different games, such as memory tests, the whisper challenge, pillow-exchange and musical chairs. Students performed group dances. A tribute video featuring some current and former students appreciating the faculty members was screened. Nazifa Bashir, a recent graduate of the department delivered a fun video presentation acknowledging the contribution of her teachers to her life. The whole program was co-hosted by Sanjida Yesmin and Khairun Tasnim Monami. The event ended with a vote of thanks from the department chair, Mr. Selim. He expressed his hope that such programs will be regularly held to build a bridge between the current students and alumni.
